Rudolph was built on Sunday in the parking lot across the street from the shop and he has gotten a lot attention…but when the neighborhood fire department arrived to get a photo for their station holiday card they drew a small crowd!
We still don’t know who built Rudolf and why he is in the parking lot. If anyone has the story please let us know!

One of my favorite new lines we received this summer is from Side Show Press. A great little collection of letterpress cards, notebooks, wood postcards, handlebar totes and a canoe pencil pouch. The graphics all feel like a salute to Boy and Girl Scounting from another era. Be prepared!
This little tote is perfect for going on the handle bars of your bicycle!

After I reached adulthood, I’ve had fewer and fewer excuses to stamp things. Sure, there’s a random bill that needs an address stamp, but it’s just not the same. Emails and resumes just don’t benefit from the type of flair my highschool note-decorating skills can create. Yet finally, sophisticated stamping has become in-vogue! Plus, this ink works on paper and cloth. Now I can create treat bags and mini gift pouches without having to pretend it was my 5 year-old cousin’s idea the entire time.
We offer a fun selection of stamp sets and ink pads from Yellow Owl Workshop, Cavallini and Wee Gallery. Perfect to making your own cards and treat bags!
This is just in from Hammonds today – the Pigs N’ Taters chocolate bars are here!
Crispy bacon bits and potato chips in milk chocolate….
There is also new Red Velvet Cake Bar to try out with milk chocolate and red velvet cake ganache!
All bars are $3.50 each
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a girl in posession of makeup must be in want of a makeup bag. Well fret not, my fellow PDXers! This perfectly rustic and understated “supplies” bag is perfect for all your, well, supplies. It is fully waterproof and has a wipeable plastic lining. No more makeup stains at the bottom of your bag! Of course, you could also use it to hold your 5-in-1 tool, hunters knife, and vice grips while you backpack the NW mountain ranges… but for those of us who can’t make a shelter using just our teeth and maple leaves, blush and mascara will do just fine.
Relaxing on my couch with my pug, watching Shark Week with the window open and fan blasting, a horrible image passed over the screen. A back-to-school commercial. What-the-what? I’m pretty sure it just turned August, Discovery channel. You can’t trick me! Plus, we all know that here in Portland summer doesn’t start until mid-July and ends in October. So, I’m looking towards these georgous Modern Lore cards that say, “Oh my tan? I just got that riding my old farm bike in Southern France on my way to the boulangerie.” They’re perfectly vintage-looking and delightful. They come in a box set of 8 for $18.95 and have several different designs per box. Love.
