Moleskine 18 Month Calendars Have Arrived!
July 30, 2008 by papergirlpdxLoop
July 30, 2008 by papergirlpdxLoop’s organic designs and shades of grey on creamy white paper instantly grabbed my attention when I was strolling through the New York Stationery show in May. Loop has arrived in the store and with it’s cool and modern sensibility it’s instantly become one of my favorites.
Beautiful giftwrap that is worthy of framing and hanging on your walls.
Grey and black are the new green. The giftwrap sheets and all their products list all their “green” certifications.
Loop’s notecards and gift tags.
This series of Loop’s notecards and tags are all hand drawn - every little circle and strand.
Stonehenge Designs
July 22, 2008 by papergirlpdxOne of the first lines I bought for Ecru, when I opened the store was Stonehenge Designs. I think the cards are a perfect fit for the store and what’s even better is that Jacquie, the owner of Stonehenge, is my wonderful next door neighbor.
For 12 years Jacqueline Jones of Stonehenge Designs has been combining her love of photography and quotes in the creation of beautiful bookmark greeting cards. She has traveled throughout Europe, Cuba and Mexico capturing poignant vignettes which she features on her bookmark cards. This spring Jacquie released a new line of bookmark cards that are greeted for specific occasions with a fun new group of photos and quotes. These are some of her new birthday cards.
This birthday card with the Oregon Coast photo has been a big hit!
Every Stonehenge card has a bookmark that has the quote on the back - it’s like sending a little gift in every card.
Seltzer
July 10, 2008 by papergirlpdxSeltzer is another Ecru eco-favorite. Not only do they have a great selection of designs (these are just some of the new ones) but they are made with certified 100% post-consumer recycled paper and use vegetable-based inks.
Check out their blog called Gather. It’s filled with Seltzer’s take on green .
inside says…. No wonder they’re always so happy.
inside says… Hope your birthday sizzles!
Ths card is blank inside - perfect for a little summer flirting.
Positively Green
July 6, 2008 by papergirlpdxEco-friendly papers was one of the big trends at the New York stationery show this year. Many companies are printing on recycled papers, using soy based inks and using green business practices in producing their products. It just makes sense and it was great to see. I love when great design and eco-friendly are all rolled together into great cards and stationery.
Positively Green is a new line of greeting cards from Compendium and they have been a big hit in the shop. The illustrations are wonderful and paired perfectly with a great quote and the best part is that they are all made with materials and processes that leave the lightest enviromental footprint possible. On the back of each card there is a earth-friendly eco-tip. And 10% of the sales are donated to organizations that help the earth. Do something positive. Do something green.
